Who says the gaming public is tired of endless war games?
Not to be outdone by the Modern Warfare team, the folks at DICE are showcasing their work on the upcoming Battlefield 3 game, following up on the now ancient Battlefield 2. Shooting for a November 2011 release date, the locales already revealed in the game include Tehran, Paris, New York and Sulaymaniyah. The single player campaign takes place in 2014 and features the Frostbite 2 game engine; a graphics powerhouse that showcases ripple / splash damage during firefights. Take a look at seven of the screenshots released today:

Gentleman, you are going to take down any hostile targets and bring me back a McRib meal from this McDonalds. And I better get my Monopoly pieces, Move out!

Preparing for Operation Burger King (Designed to throw the enemy off the intent of the true mission)

Doug's squad watched as Doug continued to fire all of his ammo into the nearest air conditioning unit to look cool for the documentary crew.

You can't hide the McRib sandwiches from us! We know it's seasonal, but you have got to have 1 or two back there.
